IPL/Elight is a noninvasive light heat-based rejuvenation treatment uses advanced technologies of intense pulsed light (IPL) with Radio Frequency (RF) and skin contact cooling.
The treatment works by the light heating the superficial and deeper skin dermal structures which then stimulates a reparative process resulting in new collagen and elastin with no damage to the skin. Superficial vascular/ pigmented blemishes are also removed leaving your skin feeling fresh, younger looking, tighter, smoother and minimize any redness.

Visible results can be instant, the increase in collagen production tones and improves elasticity within the skin, which can then help to reduce lines and wrinkles.

Our machine can treat up to skin type 5 on the Fitzpatrick scale.
Depending on the client’s needs we recommend that to achieve the best results six treatments should be booked, four weeks apart.

The treatment takes between 20 to 30 minutes and the client will feel a warming sensation on the skin with a slight ping.
Common side effects from this treatment are the following:

These effects should reduce after 24-48hrs the redness may last for up to a week.

Discoloration to sunspots and other blemishes may occur and they may go darker, this is normal and a good indication that the treatment has been successful. The spots will eventually flake off as the skin begins to heal.
